I used for the first time after getting a piece of flint stuck in my tyre. The cut was too large to trust stans to seal it. It was a tight fit to push into the hole so although the hole was much bigger than a thorn the smaller worm was the right size. It sealed the hole. I had to add air to re-inflate the tyre to normal pressure. three weeks later (and 200 miles off-road South Downs area) and the plug is still working perfectly. Bit pricey but it saved others time waiting for me to fix.
I bought this to upgrade my road bike from a 105 5700 2x10 to a 1x 10. The 46 tooth is perfect for my 12 mile city commute, running a 11-28 cassette.
I was a little concerned that the 46 might be a little big but I have the option of running a standard road 11-32 cassette or with the wlftooth roadlink I could put a mtb cassette instead.
I have been running it for 6 weeks so far and I'm really glad I made the change.
Used on a Shimano 105 5800 group set. Short cage, 50/34 up front with a SLX 11-40t cassette. 1 or 2 extra links in the chain cant quite remember. Works fine, just make sure you never change into the two big rings. But why would you anyway.
Easy to fit, gives you the option to have a couple big granny gears for when your totally dead in the legs.
34-40 is a stupidly easy gear, but with bags on the bike and 150 miles in the legs, it makes sense.
